Chris Patterson is a nursing consultant and nurse practitioner who has
practiced for several years in acute care and family practice. As a
nursing faculty member at McMaster University, she teaches in the Advanced Health Assessment and
Diagnosis Course in the Ontario Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner
Educational Programme. She has been involved in health assessment
workshops for nurse practitioners in England, and has worked with
educators and nursing leaders nationally and internationally on advanced nursing practice
issues.
